I'm a lover of love who is addicted to Starbucks and goes through weekly phases of favorite foods. I'm a wifey to a firefighter and a dogmom to a grumpy Whippet. I love having lunch dates and dream of traveling the world.
My Sunday evening was spent with these two adorable people! We started our shoot downtown along the Scioto Mile. The Columbus Arts Fest was just finishing up, so between all the white tents and people everywhere, we really had to exercise our creativity! We found some little pockets of privacy and made the best of it! I found out that Hilary’s family lives in the same small little northern Ohio town my grandparents lived in their whole lives! We reminisced together about Durbin’s Magic Freeze and she told me all about “The Hilary” flavor slushie everyone always wanted. What a small world!
After we finished up downtown, we headed over to Franklin Park Conservatory for golden hour. And what a golden hour it was! Hilary looked amazing in her Rent the Runway dress, and John cleaned up pretty nice too 🙂 We were fortunate to not have a ton of other people around, and got to use some of the best spots! We ended the night with a high five and a piggy back ride (I didn’t participate in that part.)
John and Hilary, thank you so much for letting me capture this special time in your lives! I can’t wait for the wedding day, and so happy I’ll get to start the 2018 year with you two!
