You’ve heard it a million times: You need to build a brand for your photography business. And it needs to be unique and allow you to stand out amongst the crowded sea of photographers.
A brand is more than a logo. It’s even more than a logo, colors, and a font. Those things are important, but they’re not everything.
Your brand is the experience you give your clients. The way you treat them, educate them, and interact with them. It’s the way you present yourself and the way you talk about your business. I’d even go so far as to say it’s the way you dress and the way you decorate your home.
So with that being said, shouldn’t it be easy then to figure out your perfect branding style?
Heck to the no.
We’ve all been there. Going through Pinterest like it’s our job and looking for the brands and logos and fonts that stand out to us. But really, we should be looking around our life. What colors we’re drawn to when we shop for clothes, when we think about remodeling our home, when we look at flowers or go on vacation. What textures we love. What artwork we’re drawn to.
Look at your life and what fills your life. There you’ll find your inspiration for your brand!
