Let’s talk about our immune system. It’s pretty important right? Sometimes we need help to keep it functioning and healthy. And especially in these cold winter months!
I diffuse Thieves essential oil EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. No lie. Sometimes I’ll also add Lemon, Raven, Orange, Cinnamon Bark, Clove, or Nutmeg.
Thieves is made up of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils.
Another thing I do is drink Ningxia Red. This organic juice supports the whole body. Every system we have. It’s made with wolfberry (seriously go google this, you’ll be amazed!), plum, aronia, cherry, blueberry, and pomegranate juices and extracts, pure vanilla extract, and Lemon, Orange, Yuzu, and Tangerine essential oils. You’ll receive support for energy levels, normal cellular function, and whole-body and normal eye health.
I take one shot glass full every morning while I’m waiting for my coffee to brew. The great thing is, unlike energy drinks, you don’t have to worry how much you’re putting in your body. Some people will have 4 ounces a day! When I hit an afternoon slump, I like to add a shot of Ningxia to a glass of lime La Croix and lots of ice. I’ve seen other people freeze the packets so it becomes a slushy, make popsicles for the kids, add it to smoothies, and even make Ningxia margaritas!
I’ve personally seen a big difference in how I feel. I notice it more when I DON’T drink it in the morning. When I forget to bring the packets on a weekend getaway (which unfortunately happens quite a bit), I feel just… blah. I feel run down, tired, lazy. It’s like I can’t quite get my body all the way up and running. And if I forget to take my Ningxia shot in the morning (which doesn’t happen too often thankfully), I can tell by the afternoon that I’m starting to run low on fuel.
One of the supplements I take for immunity is Super C. Each tablet is fortified with rutin, citrus bioflavonoids, and minerals to balance electrolytes and enhance the effectiveness and absorption of vitamin C. The essential oils that are added can also increase bioflavonoid activity. There are no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, salt, sugar, starch, corn, wheat, yeast, or soy in Super C.
