So excited that my first wedding of the season was this past Saturday! Matt and Marie’s whole day was so amazing! (Check out their engagement session featuring their adorable pup!)
We started our day at the Le Veque Tower. The girls were all buzzing about, getting ready, and excited for the day ahead. There were so many gorgeous details to photograph and such a lovely hotel room to do it in!
After everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to the church! The pews were full and it was wonderful to see so many there to help celebrate Matt and Marie.
We decided to head to Franklin Park Conservatory for portraits. Unfortunately, they just put up a fence around most of the grounds, so you can’t get to it without paying admission. But THANK GOODNESS there were some beautiful parts of the park that were still available for us to shoot at! Ohio was kind enough to *finally give us some spring blooms, and the trees were more outstanding than I could have hoped for!
After a brief stop in German Village for a few more photos, we headed over to High Line Car House to get the party started! Matt and Marie wanted to keep things simple and low-key. So the focus was very much on the happy couple and their new life together!
Guests dined on some of the best chicken with creamy sauce and perfectly roasted potatoes, helped themselves to a superb dessert bar, and danced the night away to the sound of the Trailer Park Ninjas!
Matt and Marie, thank you SO MUCH for having Natalie and I with you on your wedding day! I couldn’t have asked for a better pair to start my season off!
And a special Thank You to all of the amazing vendors who helped make this day amazing!
