Dock 580 Wedding Venue – Downtown Columbus – Smith Bros Hardware Building
There’s something about a June wedding that just gets me excited. So June 1st was one of the best days! Todd and Libby had a vibrant color palette for their wedding at Dock 580! I loved all of the colorful details! No surprise, really because their engagement session was full of color too!
There were so many things to love about this wedding, this couple, and this day. And I wish I could write you a novel all about it! Both Todd and Libby are easy to love, but one of the sweetest moments was right before the first look. Todd kept asking if he looked ok and fiddling with his vest and tie. When it was time for me to go get Libby, he asked one more time, “Do I look ok?” All he wanted was to make his bride happy.
Todd and Libby wrote their own vows to each other. I always love when couples do that! There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! At one point, I caught a glimpse of the best man crying. It was the most pure moment I’ve ever seen during a wedding ceremony. That is what true friendship looks like. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
The gorgeous macaroons you’re about to see were made by one of the bridesmaids, Sharon! Not only were they vibrant for this beautiful wedding, but they tasted absolutely incredible! I bit into one and was temporarily transported to Paris. Even though I’ve never been to Paris. But I’m pretty sure those were better than any macaroons I’d ever get there.
Libby’s sister, Holly, gave a heartwarming speech with hilarious stories of their travels to Spain. She called Libby her everything and that she was so happy Todd would be the keeper of Libby’s heart now. And that’s when I lost it. Don’t ever look at me during a sister to sister speech because I will most definitely be crying.
Libby and Todd, thank you SO MUCH for having Bana and Andrey and I with you on your amazing day! We had such a wonderful time and loved spending every second of it with you guys!
A huge thank you to all the vendors for their hard work!
