Bertram Inn Wedding Venue

What an experience!!!! Last weekend at the Bertram Inn was literally a dream come true for Bana and I! We’ve always wanted to shoot an Indian wedding! As much as I love my couples and the weddings I get to be a part of, sometimes it’s nice to document something different, ya know?

I’ll be honest, I was super, super nervous walking into this. I didn’t know what to expect, even though I had talked to every photographer I knew who has shot an Indian wedding and looked up countless blog posts about them. Robin and Prianka put my mind at ease from the second we met! They are both so sweet and so much fun!

Friday and Saturday is kind of a blur to me, so it’s been wonderful to relive the weekend through editing! One thing I’m sure I’ll never forget? Taking a limo to Taco Bell!

Robin and Prianka, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having Bana and I (and Maria!) with you for this amazing celebration!!! We loved every single moment!

Friday’s Celebrations

Friday was the engagement ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony where friends and family bring gifts to the engaged couple and celebrate the upcoming marriage.

There was also what’s called a Sangeet where friends and family perform traditional Indian dances.
