Columbus, OH Wedding Photographer
Cole and Hannah had such an amazing wedding day in the town that means so much to them, Canal Winchester. Even through the rainy weather, we still had one heck of a time celebrating this sweet bride and groom!
When I first met Cole and Hannah to talk about their wedding day, we sat outside and enjoyed the patio at Loose Rail where they would be having their reception. We talked about the craziness of 2020 and how we all loved living in this small town. Cole even gave me a brief history lesson on Loose Rail’s building and a host of other fascinating facts about Canal! They also told me all about their dogchild, Doobie. I, of course, suggested that he should be in the wedding and Hannah’s eyes lit up like the fourth of July 😂 You guys, I am all about dogs at weddings!!!! Correction. I’m all about dogs at any photo session.
One of the most exciting parts of the day was the ceremony. The covered bridge is absolutely a landmark of Canal Winchester, and this is the first time there’s ever been a wedding ceremony on it! What a spectacular way to show your guests what your small town means to you!
Loose Rail provided the perfect backdrop for guests to enjoy rustic brews and smoky barbecued meats. One of the highlights of the reception was definitely the delicious cake that everyone was raving about! There were actually pieces of buckeyes sprinkled in throughout the cake, giving everyone a yummy taste of what it truly means to be an Ohioan.
Thankfully, the rain subsided during dinner. Cole and Hannah were able to sway outside underneath the bistro lights for their first dance as husband and wife. And I was so happy that they were able to have a sparkler exit!
Cole and Hannah, thank you so so much for having me there to help you celebrate! I hope you’re living your best life in Hawaii as husband and wife! 🖤
A big Thank You to all of the vendors who worked so hard to make this day a fairytale!
