Katherine & Paul- Schiller Park- Columbus Engagement Photography

Katherine and Paul had such a wonderful idea for their engagement session! They live in German Village, and wanted to do their photos in the neighborhood park: Schiller Park.

We had it all planned out, and then Ohio gave us the most Ohio day ever 😑 It was supposed to rain, then it wasn’t. Then it was, then it wasn’t. We decided to go ahead and move forward with the session since their schedule would be tight for the rest of May. And we even moved the session up a full hour to get ahead of the rain that the radar was showing was coming. Guess what happened. About 30 minutes into the session is rained. Like poured. We took shelter under a tree for awhile and then when the rain stopped it was alarmingly bright out. This happened two more times lol. Oh, Ohio.

A super cool thing about Katherine and Paul is that they met in flight school. They’re both pilots! Katherine told me that the reason she liked Paul so much is that he was one of the only people who could hold a conversation involving other things besides planes 😂 After popping the question in January, Paul moved from Pittsburgh so they could spend as much time as possible together before the big day next year!
