Rohan and Leslie have actually been married for over a year, but were able to celebrate big time this past weekend with all of their friends and family! They chose a two-day party with Wolf’s Ridge on Friday and a backyard bash at their home on Saturday.
Rohan has family from all over the world, and although they couldn’t all be there, it was so wonderful to see so many be able to come into town! This was the first time I had been to the Hickory Room at Wolf’s Ridge, and it really is the perfect space to host a small reception. Guests drank craft cocktails and beer, and dined on cocktail foods throughout the night, while a slideshow of Rohan and Leslie’s favorite moments (including their wedding day!) played in the background. The seamless mixture of industrial features and elegantly dressed guests was everything you could hope for during a wedding in downtown Columbus.
To help this day feel special, Rohan wore his grandfather’s vintage tie in honor of him. Leslie looked radiant in the dress she had chosen two years ago and finally got to wear. The whole wedding party was stunning with dark navy suits and sparkly blush dresses. And wouldn’t you know, this September weekend in Ohio was way hotter than the wedding day back in July 😳 Nobody seemed to mind though, we were just happy to that these two could get the perfect wedding day they deserved!
I asked both Rohan and Leslie how they felt that morning since they were having a wedding day after being married for over a year. They both mentioned how they weren’t nervous at all and that they were just super excited to be with all of their friends and family!
On Saturday, the backyard bash was more low-key and laid back, which I loved! From a full bar, to a food truck, to a tented dance floor, this was a serious party! The vibe was stress free and all about having fun. After a few speeches, the dance floor was open and the music was loud!
Thank you, Rohan and Leslie, for having me back to celebrate again with you! It feels like the end of an era, and I hope you both know how much you’re loved by so many people!
