Makenzie and Jacob came all the way from Utah for their engagement session! Makenzie told me all she wanted was a location full of nature and beauty, and since this is Ohio 😑 that pretty much narrowed down my suggestions to one place: Franklin Park Conservatory.

Makenzie grew up in the Cleveland area, and Jacob in Utah. In fact, he told me that coming to Ohio for his engagement session was the first time he’d left Utah and the first time he’d been on a plane! 😮 Sorry Columbus is so flat and dead looking, Jacob lol

When Makenzie and I first talked, we bonded over our love of dogs. She was about to get her puppy, Milo, who is being trained as a classroom dog! He’ll be able to help kids with anxiety or panic attacks, and alert when needed. I was about to get Oslo (our new addition after having to put Speedy down in December), but he won’t have any special assignments 😝

They’ll be getting married this August in Hocking Hills, and so we definitely took advantage of the gorgeous orchids and butterflies on special display as a way to contrast their rustic summer wedding. I’m so excited for it!
