Well I’ve reached that age where people I knew as kids are getting married 😭 But my goodness, how lucky I am to create priceless memories for them all! 😭😭 Madison’s dad and my husband have been good friends since they were teenagers. Even being best man in each other’s weddings! So when Madison asked me about shooting her wedding, there was not inkling of hesitation.

Simão and Madison had a small intimate ceremony and reception at Rising Park in Lancaster. Simão is actually from Portugal, and I loved how many cultural influences there were in their day! One of the absolute sweetest moments was when Madison spoke her vows in Portuguese. I don’t know about anyone else, but I literally had tears in my eyes! I thought that was such a wonderful way to show respect to Simão’s family and where he came from.

Everyone were good sports with braving the chill in the air and gloomy Ohio sky. But honestly nothing could ruin this gorgeous day and this amazing couple.
