Hannah and Mike came from Denver, Colorado for their engagement photos! Bridge Park is close to Mike’s family home, and we picked one of the coldest days of the week to do these photos. After grabbing drinks at Pins Mechanical Co, we braved the cold for a bit and took some wonderful shots!

Hannah and I quickly bonded over our love of Taco Bell, so naturally, we included it in their session. And fun fact for you: Mike has 3 brothers- all of whom I’ve shot weddings! 🥹

Even though the snow had turned brown and slushy at this point, Bridge Park was still a wonderful choice for photos. It gives the feel of a small town with the modern architecture of city life.

We absolutely wanted to keep Hannah and Mike’s session fun and playful. Lots of laughs and lighthearted moments! I loved that they chose nice outfits to wear (even on the fancy side!) while still being true to themselves.

Learn from this session: Don’t be afraid to dress nice, even if you’re more of a playful and relaxed type of couple. If there are things you both love, or traditions you both enjoy (like Taco Bell or NFL rival teams), incorporate them into your session so that the photos truly feel like you.

Hannah and Mike, thank you for making this session feel like just hanging out with good friends. Being excited for your Denver wedding this fall is the understatement of the year, and I’m counting down the days until then!
