Saturday was such an amazing day with Matt, Kat, and all of their friends and family! I loved that they were married at the Grange Audubon Center where we did their engagement session!
The day started off with lots of fun and laughs at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Columbus. We photographed pretty details, hung out with the bridesmaids, and gawked at the gorgeous gown Kat had picked out.
After throwing confetti (literally), we headed to the venue for the first look. After a tearful first look with Dad, it was time for the bride and groom to see each other! They were both so giddy with anticipation. This was the moment they had waited so long for. And the moment did not disappoint!
We traveled down to the Scioto Mile for some fun bridal party photos featuring the Columbus skyline (and bicyclists!) After a brief stop in German Village to capture the quaint architecture and brick roads, it was time to GET MARRIED!!! The ceremony was wonderful and lively and full of emotion.
Family photos went off without a hitch, and now it was time to relax and get the party started! The best man and maid of honor gave their speeches which were so heartfelt and even included some information about a secret party from Matt’s teenage years. After some of the most tender short rib and creamy mashed potatoes, we whisked the bride and groom out for the most perfect golden hour with some of the most gorgeous light and romantic moments!
The night finished with a packed dance floor, song requests, glow sticks, and Plank’s pizza!
Matt and Kat, thank you SO MUCH for having us celebrate with you! I loved every second and am so happy you guys are officially husband and wife!
And a huge thank you to all of the vendors who worked so hard to make this day amazing!

These were Kat’s grandma’s earrings! Love when brides wear family heirlooms!
Not gonna lie, it makes me giddy when I see my images used for Save the Dates!!
Proof these two were meant to be: They both wrote super similar things in their letters to each other *swoon
I always feel kinda bad for the hotel staff who have to clean up the confetti. But so worth it!!
Kat got each of her girls these super adorable stainless steel tumblers with their names on it!
I’ve tried to get an image like this for like the past year. I most likely squealed with delight when I realized I finally got it!
You guys. This was legit taken right after the moment I told the group to talk about the bachelor and bachelorette party. LOL
Just could not get over how gorgeous these flowers turned out!
Sun flare for the win!

Cookies for days!
Sorry not sorry for the golden hour overload about to come. Perfect in every single way!
This is why you need to wear a long veil on your wedding day!!!
