I feel like I’ve waited a lifetime for this wedding day. I’ve known Sydney since she was just a little thing, and getting to document her wedding day was literally one of the hugest honors I’ve had. She and Nick are the perfect pair! After spending some time with them for their engagement session, I couldn’t wait (even more!) for their big day at Granville Inn!
The Granville Inn is such a cool unique venue. Plenty of old-world charm and historic vibes. Nick and Sydney did a great job channeling the vintage style with the style of their wedding style. I was loving the bridesmaid’s dresses! You always hear about dresses that you can “wear again,” but these will truly be something the girls can wear over and over!
The whole day was beautiful and oozing during the fall season, but since the ceremony didn’t start until sunset, we had the most perfect yummy golden hour light for all of the photos! I was dying! 😍
Before they saw each other for the first time, Nick and Sydney shared letters they wrote to each other. Even though they didn’t read them out loud, you could just tell they had the sweetest words in them.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was hearing Ian give the wedding talk. Ian has been a friend of Sydney’s family for eons, and he was always going to be the one to marry Sydney and whatever lucky guy she chose. Because of Covid and their ministry assignment in New York, Ian and his wife couldn’t travel to Ohio for the wedding 😢 But friends pulled together and made it possible for Ian to be there virtually.
Nick and Syd, thank you so so much for trusting me with your wedding memories. Bana and I loved being there and are incredibly happy for you two to start your lives together!
