When I first met Tara, she told me all about her small hometown and how much she loved it. Growing up in the country, spending summers at her grandparent’s house, and taking a shortcut through the field to get there. So when she said Rockford is where she’s having her wedding, I knew it meant the world to her and Jared to be able to do that.

One thing about being in the country, you’re going to have stray cats. And those cats are going to bring over their baby kittens. Well, that’s exactly what happened to Tara’s parents. These were the cutest tiniest baby kittens and Bana and I were in absolute heaven. I love you, Jared and Tara, but for those three minutes while we held them, nothing else about the wedding day mattered 😂 I spent the whole way driving to the ceremony telling Bana I would buy her all the kitten essentials if she wanted to take one home (at least four people asked us if we wanted to take one lol.)

The morning started off rainy, but by the time afternoon came, the sun was shining and the temperature was rising. We had the most gorgeous weather, even though that Beyonce wind was giving us a hard time! At least it was doing us a favor when the champagne was popped!

Jared and Tara, thank you so much for having us come to your tiny hometown and celebrate with your friends and family. Bana and I loved your day and we couldn’t have asked for more!
