Ricky and Marie had such a wonderful wedding day! They had planned a crisp fall October day, but Ohio (as usual) had other plans and gave us a hot fall October day. It was still beautiful and an awesome celebration!

Ricky and Marie have been together since their school days, and so family and friends were extra happy to finally get the chance to see them tie the knot. They were both a ball of nerves that morning and so excited to be getting married!

The wedding took place on Marie’s parent’s property in Midland. This is such a special place to her, that we did their engagement session there too! There was plenty of room for everyone and the views were spectacular! Since Ricky’s heritage is Mexican, I loved how they incorporated traditions throughout the day. For the ceremony, they had a Lasso tradition. And for the reception, authentic tacos and Mexican sides that I seriously could not get enough of! The color palette of black and cranberry just added to those fun vibes and traditional looks. And just wait until you see Marie’s dress! She had her jewelry designed and handmade just for her!

The party continued well into the night, but not before we all shed some tears. Marie’s sister in law sang a song that she wrote just for the newlyweds. Ricky’s brother barely made it through his speech, and I barely made it through the photos 😭

Ricky and Marie, thank you for having Bana and I there to celebrate this amazing day! And thank you for being so flexible and laid back when they day started off in such an awful way 🚗 Love you both to pieces and hope you’re soaking up the sun on your honeymoon!
