I got to shoot this wonderful wedding in November with Natalie Baker Photography!
This wedding was a bit of a challenge, because Brandon didn’t want to see Paige before the ceremony. But since the ceremony was in the evening in November, that would mean we’d have very little sunlight for photos. Natalie came up with a great plan: we’d do all the bridal party photos before the ceremony, but arrange people so that Brandon would never see his bride. She always stayed a step behind him, and you really couldn’t tell in the images! We did a couple strategic poses with the bride and groom too. After the ceremony, instead of jumping right in to family portraits, we rushed outside to catch the last few minutes of the golden glow and did more bride and groom photos. Once we squeezed out every last drop of sunlight, we went back inside for the family photos. Whew!
There was a good old fashioned cake smash, an emotional groom who sang their first dance song into his wife’s ear, and some of the sweetest parent dances I’ve ever witnessed. But one thing’s for sure, the whole day was wonderful and so full of love!
Congratulations to Brandon and Paige, and a huge Thank You to Natalie for bringing me along!
