Engagement Photography in Columbus, OH

I loved spending time with Emily and John last week! We’ve been trying to get together and shoot their engagement session, but COVID really made us work hard for it! Between shutdowns, quarantine, and a crazy busy work schedule for these two, we finally were able to find a day that worked.

And wouldn’t you know it, stupid Ohio decided to call for rain 👎🏻

We decided to move forward with the shoot and hope for the best. And we got the best! Not only was there not a single drop of rain, but we actually got SUNSHINE!!

I always love hearing about the proposal story. Emily’s ring was so unique and gorgeous, and she told me that it actually isn’t hers! John proposed while they were boating on the lake. Through an unfortunate series of events, the original engagement ring is now on the bottom of that lake somewhere 😩 I would have just DIED!!! Emily’s good friend lended her a ring that she could wear until they can get a replacement (thank goodness for good friends!)
