Garrett and Mandy rang in the new year by saying I Do! I remember asking them why they wanted a New Year’s Eve wedding, and they said because they just wanted to have fun. And after their engagement session, it was easy to see how much these two really are!

They chose The Vue in Columbus, Ohio to host their special day. I love this venue, and I love the variety of spots for photos! We were lucky enough to get a break in the rain that day, but it was so nice to be able to have a gorgeous spot for photos indoors. We also ran into a snag when we realized most of the roads around our portrait location were closed because of a Blue Jackets game. We finally made it down there (after a brisk fast paced walk from the hotel) and were doing our thing, when the game let out. Literally thousands of people were walking around right across the street and watching us take photos! 😬

We got back just in time for the loveliest ceremony, which included a nod to Mandy’s love of cats in both her vows and Garrett’s. After family photos and a fun reception introduction, three wedding party members gave their heartfelt speeches. Which all included talking about Mandy’s love of cats 😂

Garrett and Mandy, thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me with you to celebrate your amazing day! 🥰
